    We are currently looking for audience members for a new TG4 show to be recorded this May in RTÉ studios, Dublin.

    The heart of Traditional Irish dance still beats strongest in Ireland and it is here that the elite troupes and dancers are to be found - and now it’s time to find out who is the best!
    The programme will pit the best traditional Irish dancers from around the country against each other. There are tickets available for 10 shows in total over the month of May so there's bound to be one that suits.

    It's not just something for Irish speakers, this is a great outing for everyone! We invite you and your friends to come and join in the fun with us this May.

    Hey,

    Does anyone know of any irish music and dance shows available in dublin. We are planing a weekend there this summer. I found this one http://www.irishdanceparty.com which I think is based in temple bar however we are staying on the south side of the city and would prefer somewhere out of the city centre.

    We have a group of 15 people so we need a big venue and we want it to be interactive too.

    You can check out www.setdancingnews.net for actual dancing nights (not shows!). There is a regular céilí in Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann headquarters in Monkstown on Friday nights. Again this is not a show but is regularly attended by groups of young people from other countries. They are taught simple dances. This venue also has shows during July/August. See www.comhaltas.com

    There is a show on in Johnny Foxe's Pub in Glencullen which is a mixture of Irish dancing/music. See www.jfp.ie
