Seems to be completing the footpath and widening the approach to the roundabout. It needs to be done, but the roadworks are a pain in the morning.

Are they doing anything about the suicide walk from Loughboy across the Ring Road? A footbridge, maybe?

It's the start of a new path and cycle lane that will eventually encompass the whole ring road.

Footbridges, although a good idea, are not being installed due to lack of funds.
