I will have 5 kittens to home in 8-9 weeks.
One ginger ( preliminary booked) 2 black , 1 tabby and a grey tabby.
Not sure if they are boy or girls as they are only 3 days old and I dont want to handle them just yet as this Mom has left me a litter last year to hand rear. This wont be a problem this time as they are save away from prying hands.
So Homes needed, as most of you know I have too many little freinds as it is!!!

    thanks.

Will pop out later and get some sort of shot of them and pop your name on one. It might change colour as it gets older but we'll see...

I have to ask - if you have a cat that's already had one litter of unwanted kittens that you needed to rehome, how come you didn't have her neutered afterwards so you didn't have to go through this again?

Shes not my cat , but the last stray in the area who I havent been able to catch and neauter. Although I have TNR'd about 22 cats in the area.

And I have homed any kittens that have been born in my garden, I feed and care for more strays than you could imagine.

My vet bill is more than my families food bill.
    hope that answers your question.

I knew from your previous posts that you'd taken on a lot of catch and release neuters, that's why it sounded so weird that you were dealing with the same cat for the second time. For some reason I thought she was one of your cats, not one of the strays, which obviously made no sense, hence I asked.

I understand. This Mom is a Funny girl. Won't let me near her. As cute as a button and has smarts to beat the band. not a lot in the looks department though.
If it kills me, this will be her last litter. And then that should be it.
    No more babies.

Good on you for taking her on - isn't it funny that she reappears at yours when she has babies and won't come within grabbing distance when she doesn't need something :)

Is it just me, or do you find that the smarter a cat is, the more neurotic it is? One of mine is very smart, and very neurotic, and I'm starting to discover that my little female bengal X rescue is smart (just how she reacts to some situations) and sure enough, her neurotic behaviour is starting to show up too...

Well we have one guy Teddy. Who holds the back door open with one paw for his four legged friends to come in.
And Bobby who gives kisses on demand.
Nothing like having a cat or 24 in your life.

Pink Tulips, what are ya like???:D
Though I must admit I've always hoped the next stray would be a grey tabby- I love them too...

Well I "own" 8. But would have at least another 9 strays under my care. It had at one stage gone up to 24. But if you check out my other posts you will see we had a problem with poisoning and lost a few.
We've nursed some back to good health and have tried to contain them in our garden!! Yeah right like that can work with cats!!
2 friends were gone for a week. And we were sure they had fallen victim to this malisious poisoner. But they both reappeared last night!!! Cheers all round when Sammy and hiedi were heard screaming for food at the back door. We think they got into a shed and only got let out yesterday when someone needed to cut the grass!!!
Anyway. My story continues with 5 new little furry bums to find homes for.
If you like Grey you'd adore my Casper. Totally grey with blue eyes. Won't let us near him. But moved in just before xmas. I mean moved into the house as he just appeared in our hall one day. Hence the name Casper!!

    socket... i know, it's an illness! :D

on the plus side have 4 definite homes and one possible for my wee ones and they're 5 weeks today so very pleased with that end of things. i'll need a new one to get over having to give them up ;)

dawnriser, out of curiousity... how are you planning on socialising them? will you be taking them from mom in a few weeks and bringing them into your house?

just curious as had a situation like this once and if the mother cat hadn't taken it into her head to bring me the kittens one morning i have no idea how i should have gone about socialising them so they could be rehomed, as it was 2 of 4 weren't the friendliest of kittens as it was gone 5 weeks by the time they came into the house.
