Anyone experiencing UPC speed issues in Lucan/Clondalkin area tonight

    Have Broadband Ultra and getting very poor speeds even using their own fixed test getting under 8.76Mbps download speeds even worse on Speedtest less then 3Mbps, is it just me or anyone else having the same poor speed?

    Rang support usual we'll get technician to ring me within 24 hours.

    Fairly crap speeds in dublin 1... On ultra too. 2-3mbps.

    Getting this in Lucan, although i think i've been having these problems for a while. On the 6Mb package.

    Yeah, speed is about half what it should be. It also went down a few times today and yesterday but came back fairly quick. First problem I've had since switching back over last summer.

    it's crap again tonight 5.71Mbps, I was even disconnect from the playstation network rang first level support no issues in the lucan area or no upgrade work, 2nd level will be ringing me back in the next 24 hours, but doubt they are going to help.

    Anyway I recommend anyone having issues to log a call with them, complain about paying full wack for a service thats less then half the advertised speed, guy put a note on my account so not paying until they get my speed up to a reasonable level. Also ask for a case reference so you can cut through the bull next time you ring in.
