What book to take to Mallorca on Holiday?

Hi, dont get a chance to read books these days, 20 month old child and lots of other distractions, would like to read something nice and easy, was thinking of John Banville`s `The Sea` or Anne Enright`s `The Gathering` but was thinking something set in the sun or Spain would be nicer to read, Any recommendations?

The Beach? Set in paradise but it's not necessarily happy and merry in the last 1/3...

`The Beach` would be good for a beach holiday ok but i read it.

If you brought the Sea and the Gathering you might very well end up in the sea.
