Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You obviously have a problem or a gripe with the personality's running the bank.
Rome wasn't built in a day.The rebel card club has had at least 1 cash table running every night since its opening which is a major achievement in a tight market with an already established dominant player.

You simply can't just open up and expect to take over the market overnight. The lads are trying to find their niches and take their advantages where they can find them this takes time. The tournament market is very tight with competition coming from not only the other casino but also pubs and online guaranteed tournaments with which no b+m casino can compete.

This is a major step for the lads in the current economic climate and a bit of support from the poker community wouldn't go astray.Competition is a good thing for all players which is already being seen in Cork.If the players let these
ventures die it's back to the take or leave it attitude.

You have obviously joined boards for sole reason of dissing the rebel cc or those involved so at least be man enough to put a name to your posts.

Btw I have no vested interest in the bank or the rebel cc and am an active an current member of the Macau sporting club and also sangri la.

Fair play for taking a chance with this. Got a text the other night saying a 2-5 game was on, would've come over except I'm trying to take a break from cash games. When the tournaments kick off you can count me in, looking forward to donking off all my chips in a different venue :)

Well, bootress will be taking a break for a week.

I have run out of patience with the childish back and forths in threads about the Cork poker scene. Substantive and reasonably presented inquires or complaints about establishments that use boards.ie as a promotion tool for their business will always have a place in this forum. Those that benefit from this forum are obliged to publicly deal with feedback if they wish to continue using it. But negative rubbish and bitterness that amounts to nothing more will be tolerated no longer.

Everyone, and I mean everyone involved in the Cork poker scene should take heed - because those who cannot behave like adults will be treated like children.

best of luck with this i always say a poker club ran by poker players is always a good thing, but i can see a waterford scenario arising here which is defo not a good thing for poker in the long run !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just came across this wow well done Sideshow, a pokerplayer is always a good choice to run a pokeroom/casion! Im in Texas atm myself belive it or not, so i wont be around for about 2/3 months. I would like to wish you and your partners all the very best though! I have not played live at all really in the last 2 years for various reasons but i shall def call in and check out the new gaff when im back!
What do ye hope to do regarding tournaments though, as the competition across the Lee has a big head start and as im sure ye are aware that this is a great way to built up a cash game crowd! Also will there be any incentives for the likes of me for example who just got sick of the whole live scene , to come back and put their cash on the felt rather than online? Anyway as i said already the best of luck,i really mean it!;)

I would love to join up here where is it? and how much to join? also i dont play cash games i perfer tournaments, will ye have them at all?

Well done Bob, now with the correct door policy to keep the cork boys out and no centre finn quif hairstyles allowed this could well be worth a visit :D

    Good Luck with it.
