NO, I didn't say that. You should expect it though, Rooney did nothing wrong, your man was as good as lying on the ball, he'd every right to go for it, kicked him or not.

I think the biggest danger to Utd is complaceny - Boro offering very little in the way of a decent attacking threat. Utd get a second goal and it's game over. For Boro to score it looks like the Utd defence would have to make a big mistake, as the Boro attack looks the definition of toothless.

Can't see Boro getting anything more than a draw from this at most and it would look like they would have to be very very fortunate to even get that. As against that Utd haven't created a huge amount in the way of decent chances apart from long-range efforts outside the box. However Utd look much more likely to score next.

Kiko has been poor. He's putting in effort, but he's taking too long on the ball. As everyone else has said, he should be keeping it simple. Scholes has been sub par as well, he should've gotten both those shots at least on target. Giggs has been very good though.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ronaldo come on later (he is on the bench, isn't he?). We've been non-existent on that right wing and I think he could do some damage.

I think with Macheda he looks decent, and he clearly doesn't look out of place in the game which says a lot about his potential. I think the fact that he looks around 23 as opposed to 17 might cause people to judge him more harshly. As against that physically he looks like a very early developer.

Berbatov has been good, really alert to those two chances near the end of the half, should be 2-0. Macheda hasn't been particularly good, could maybe see Nani coming on for him with Rooney moving up top.
