Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Fantastic. Great passing move with a cracking finish that Park deserves

Okish performance from the kid, looks exhausted. He'll need to take a lot from that game and learn from it.

Fergie is working on the goal difference here, and I hope it works. We need to improve it, because if we can get the goal difference back on our side, we can afford to lose 2 games and still win the league. 3 or 4 more goals in this game, which wouldn't be out of the question, would nearly seal the league for us.

Quote from David Peat 'They're not playing like a team who are bottom of the league (middlesbrough), they are playing like a team on their summer holidays'

    why?

you're not going to need it.

if i was utd, i'd just take it easy, take off rooney and maybe vidic in preparation for tuesday, and enjoy easy street.

Yeah, seeing as Mourinho manages in Italy it makes perfect sense.

Park Park wherever you may be,
You eat dogs in your home country,
But it could be worse you could be a scouse,
Eating rats in a council house.

    GWAN PARKY !!!!!!!!

Nice finish by Park but in fairness Boro came out in the second half like a team that had given up. The amount of space and the utter lack of effort in terms of tackles in the middle of the field was an utter disgrace.

Expect a "reaction" for a maximum of ten minutes from Boro before they slack off again. They really have been awful and deserve to go down.

Yes he did, he was piss poor today. Was too slow and as you said got bullied about.

I'm very surprised he took off Macheda though, as poor as he was today surely resting your players for Tuesday should be the priority:confused:

    LOL you bitter man.

It was more an ode to park than a go at Mourinho in this thread.

The initial comment was sarcasm ;)

Given how inept and uniterested Boro were in the first five minutes I don't think there is anyone who could have thought I was serious??

Would have thought you would have known better:D

Hopefully SAF takes Rooney and Vidic off-we need them more on Tues.

Park's goal was so casual... Boro resigned to the fact that they're going down?

Mixed reactions to his performance around here.
He certainly didn't shine, but there were a few little moments of class.
Don't think he got a shot on goal, but he held the ball up well once or twice.
Unfortunatley, he gave the ball away carelessly more than once too.

In sumation, he did well for a 17 year old, but nothing special today.

Oh BTW, did anyone else see the linesman singing to himself before the start of the game when the players were in the tunnel? I'm convinced he was singing to himself.

the boro players should hang their heads.

granted, southgate doesn't seem to have the skills to get them up for the match, and his tactics whatever they were may not have worked anyway, but if the players don't put hard work and passion into a performance against utd, with their survival hopes hanging by a thread, then there's no hope for them.

    embarrassing.

i don't think utd have been out of 1st gear to be honest. they could have put the entire reserve team out and won as easily.

Could really see Boro being down in the Championship for a while - they really don't have the look of a team who might bounce back up.

I can understand that decision tbh. Rooney is one booking away from missing the final don't forget IF we get there
