Just a query if anybody can help.

Madisson Belle 10/11 raced Denton Diva 11/4 today. They previously raced last month when Denton Diva beat him with an extra 7 pounds worse off than today. They go and race today and Madisson beats him by 15 lengths apprx.

    How does this happen?

Is that a serious question or are you just venting?

Madisson Belle is a filly, not a 'him'. The extra sun on her back the last few weeks could well have made a difference, can happen with certain fillys.

The filly wasn't really 7lb worse off. They raced off the same weights as last time except that last time she had a conditional taking 7lb off.
For form reading purposes most punters should ignore this 7lb, unless it is an exceptional amateur/conditional.

3yearold form is especially unreliable as the horses are immature and still developing and a month can make a huge difference. What month they were foaled can still be a factor at this stage.

Its a claimer, not exactly the most reliable of racing heats at the best of times.
