The Akira Class, It just looks so damned sleek!

Looks quite like the nx-01 Enterprise (upside down), which I think is a nice design.

More the other way around, the NX-01 Enterprise was somewhat based on the Akira design which dates to Star Trek: First Contact.

I love The Light Works images.
At one stage I had them printed out and all over the walls of my room (I was 24/25 at the time!!)

Still have them as various wallpapers for my phones/PSP/PS3 etc

Well the Intrepid class was designed with atmospheric flight and landing capability in mind, but yeah there's no need for so many ships to have aerodynamic tendencies.

Afaik Fed ships are shaped the way they are for optimal warp field performance *stokes neck beard*

    I always loved the Defiant.

Other than that I'll take the Borg cubes or that one from Voyager that split into 3, i think it was the Prometheus.

Was just about to say that. The Prometheus class ships, seen in Voyager, where pretty sweet.

I may be on my own with this but I really liked the look of the nebula class ships from Star Trek.

I never really noticed it before, but the Nova class is VERY similar to the Soverign class.

Kirk's Enterprise in all it forms, esp. the new one and the original.

Klingon Bird of Prey and Sisko's Defiant.

I like the Akira class, but is there and blueprints online for how the look inside?

For those who like the D'Derdex, there's a new screenshot on Startrekonline.com:

Following on from the Favorite Enterprise thread,

What is your favorite from the Star Trek universe?

Mine probably is the Romulan D'deridex class Warbird

I hated the way we never saw a pitched battle between the D'deridex and a Galaxy class.
