Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I just got a new computer with vista home premium and there are a coulpe of things I would like to know:
    1. How do you stop vista from minimising any window i have opened when I change the sound level. It keeps opening the mixer, is there anyway to change the sound without my programs minimising?
    2. When I press "crtl, alt, delete" i want task manager to pop up right away not showing me a screen with a list of options. Can anyone help me please??

1... how do you change your sound ? through a dial on the outside ? Laptop is it ? hmmm interesting. i dont know. i wonder whether there is external software installed by the laptop manufacturer that might be doing that.

Weird. That shouldn't be happening. I've been using vista since it came out and i've never seen this

Happens on mine too. It is just because of whatever way the On Screen Display software takes over. Unfortunately I haven't found a way around it other than set your laptop volume at full before you start watching or listening to whatever, and then just control the volume from the Windows Media Player, or whatever, control panel.
