Maybe you could post a bit more info?

    Eu or IE laws?

Very few, if any online sites are based in Ireland.

Irish Laws. New Legislation is to be introduced.
    .
If they do tax the Irish firms that will boost the other sites.
    .
It sounds like the V.A.T rise again

why dont they just buy a couple of million dildo's and tell us all to bend over and drop our pants

if they actually used the money they had instead of wasting it we wouldnt be in this mess !!!

if its a POS tax then that will fall on both merchant and client for online sales: (and of course the customer)

Why cant they just change the country into a dictatorship .... everyone is treated the same !! (I for one welcome our new overlord !!)

Not being smart but have you any facts to share with us?

We all live in the EU here so what your saying wouldn't having any legal substance.

How the hell do you even prove where a bet was placed bearing in a mind an an IP address is no longer geographically related nor any guide to where the host is located
