Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

wexford poker run sunday 24th may

    right lads,who is up for a poker run on sunday 24th may !!!!!!
    registration will be from 11am opposite sidetracks on the quay wexford,leaving at 12noon,heading to wellington bridge , arthurstown , newross , enniscorthy , finish at MERNAGHS OYLEGATE light refreshment ,probably sausage & chips,
    prior to prizegiving,
    entry fee is €20.00 each,pillion riders allowed .
    reason ! all the money raised ,will be given to the riders with the best hands,
    at this stage i can't say how much,but it will determine on how many turn up ,on the day.
    this is designed to be a thank you run for all the support,that has been given ,by the biker community, to raise funds for the various charities over the years ,and let them have a shot at getting something in return,for a change
    there will be three random spot prizes,a helmet,jacket,gloves,kindly donated by jimmy hyland,of wexford motorcycle centre.
    so if you are on for this run then get your name down,so we have a rough idea how many are coming,and this is also a nation wide invitation,
    if yer not in ya cant win.

    sounds good...........but I reckon you'd get a better response if you donated most of the proceeds to charity!!!

    I'd be tempted to got to Wexford for a charity run( as I have often done), but wouldn't bother just for a poker run for the benefit of individuals............just my tuppence worth........best of lick with it

    i just did a charity run on the 26th april,the feeling is we want to do a thank you run for the supporters,i'm sure a lot will be delighted to get something back for their generosity over the years,and enjoy the day out.
    as far as i know we have about 80 + names down so far so it's definately gaining intersest.i will be surprised if we dont top the ton,on the day.
    you should come down just for the hall of it,i'm sure you'd be delighted if ya won something ,it would be your choice regarding what you did with any money won,keep it or donate it !!!!!!!!!
