Iskanders Kebab House, Dame St., burnt down

    I'm shocked at the closure of Iskanders due to fire damage. In my opinion, they made the finest kebabs I've ever had, and looking forward to having on a regular basis. I'm not sure what happened, and I'm not sure if they're planning to re-open, but I hope they do. I've had many a delicious meal at their tables. :(

    I've created a Facebook group for people who like and/or miss Iskanders.

    that's a pity, I've always heard nice things about this place and I hope they will reopen soon.

    They had the best food around. I hope they open soon. They must be losing alot of money as they used be making huge profits afew years ago.

    Zaytoon different class to this mob, was handy though if having a few beers in the Mercantile etc....
