Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What you think of taking off Rooney straight away to protect him from Suspension?

**** yeah. We've this in the bag unless they get 4...which ain't gonna happen. I would.

But I'm not the boss. He should at least do it at half-time though.

That's why you don't give Rooney that much space.

Almunia actually remembered what he's supposed to do when a shot is coming at him there.

We're being too casual in possession. Need to tighten it up, keep the ball, kill the match.

United are getting way too much space when they're on the attack.

now that utd can relax, they look the far better team.

    this could be embarrassing.

I'm so pissed about the Everton game now. If we'd just been able to take that we'd be unstoppable in winning everything.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

Arsenal don't even look like they're capable of getting back into this.

Not just the goal..first leg to was a massacre..at this level poor/experienced players will be shown up..

Defense is key...or if no defense get yourself a Messi..

So whats the general consensus so far then? Referee conspiracy or Arsenal rolling over? Perhaps Arsenal are using zonal marking?

God forbid United actually get credit for a goal...

Fletcher has come on unbelievably this year

RTE have been unbelievably anti-United this season I've noticed.

    Terrible crossing from Arsenal here.

Ronaldo just keep the ball, stop flicking it or I'll flick you in the eye.

    utd get plenty of credit.

both goals were horrendous individual errors.

arsenal in bits since and utd look the far better team, as they have done over both legs so far to be fair.

i don't think anyone's arguing much with that sort of analysis on here.

He shouldn't be allowed commentate if that's the case. Darragh Maloney's much better AND I suspect he's a Chelsea fan. Whatever happened to unbiased journalism. (I use the word "journalism" loosely)

Made contact with the keeper without getting the ball. Like Tevez last week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Now that was NOT a free kick. Lucky Almunia saved that or there would have been uproar.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,247 ✭✭✭ROCKMAN

 When did Ronaldo start hitting the target.

Well you would think that being an Arsenal fan...
After every game (UNITED WIN) they argue about how they could have won by more goals and how they should have played John Giles preferred tactics as opposed to a 31-trophy winning manager's. It's absolutely ridiculous and tiresome. They just made the program too long this season and have to invent stuff to argue about and criticise after the game.

Memo to Wenger......The game of football includes tackling, tracking back, honesty of effort;),leadership and a real captain to lead your team.

    Crazy stuff.

Still, everyone knew United were straight into the final when the draw was made.

Ronaldo gets a free for jumping over Song. I see the ref hasnt firugered out he'll drop anywhere within 40 yards of the goal if theres someone anywhere near him.
