Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The Dimension 4550 uses standard PATA (also called IDE) hard drives. You should be able to pick up one in any computer store eg PC World. Aldi were even selling them at one stage.

They are quite cheap, you should be able to pick up a 500gb one for less than 120euro

500 gb is about 75euro,see www.peats.com 1ooogig is about 140., go to computer management, control panel, format hardrive.you have to format a new hd,format in ntfs ,its more effecient,500gb takes 30mins approx.remove the old ide cabe, and power 4pin,place in the new hd,red stripe on cable,is beside power 4pin input,.1st switch off pc,remove pc power plug from the wall.
