Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It means if you have am accident you will pay the first €250 if thats what your excess is. usally the higher the excess the lower the premium but if anything happens your screwed.

It is nearly impossible to get a €0 excess on a policy. The excess serves 2 purposes. Firstly, to stop minor claims coming in that are as expensive to handle as a serious smack and secondly, if the insured has to pay a portion of the loss, he might take better care.

I've changed the excess on policies when getting quotes and don't ever get much of a saving. If you use any of the online brokers/sites you can do it.
