There'd better be punishments for the Chelsea players involved in that. When stewards have to be surrounding the ref from the players at this level, theres something seriously wrong.

bloody delighted, Drogbas diving went against Chelsea imo as did their attitude. Drogba and Ballack showed what kind of ethos there is at Chelsea with their attacks on the ref at the end. There was one valid penalty claim for Chelsea but the dive by Anelka to get Barca down to 10 men evened it out imo.

gonna be a long long arguement about this game, i DID (past tence) feel sorry for chelsea because there was one stone wall peno denied, but after seein ballack, terry, drogba et al's disgraceful behaviour after the game all sympathy is gone out the window!

Seriously, if anyone can tell me why chelsea did not get at least two penalties in that game, i'd love to hear it. The ref should never be allowed ref a european match again, far too many plain wrong calls.

It's not wrong, per se. Sympathy for Chelsea would have been fine for about 60 seconds after the goal, before the Ballack incident. After that reaction, and then the melée with Terry, Drogba, Cech, etc, real sporting sympathy went out the window.

Yes, the referee was fncking awful, but he made sh!te decisions for both teams.

It couldnt have happened to a nicer bunch of lads, the only semi-likeable characters at chelsea are joe cole and frank lampard. Drogba et al should look to the behaviour of the barca fans when they they went out at anfield not so long ago, for a lesson in humility and graciousness in defeat.

It's fairly easy when you are facing a team that has any intent on attacking.

They should have had at least one peno IMO, but there is no way Abidal should have been sent off. I also think Barca could have gone for the jugular with Barca at 10 men and killed the game off, but they seemed overly comfortable at 1-0 and maybe started to think they had the job done?

Ballack and Drogba behaved disgracefully, they deserve a break from Euro football (after the one they've just been handed of course )

Having Henry to put those balls in the net will make a massive difference, there was some great football played by Barca, Alves had a nightmare though. But sure he won't be playing in the final, having said that he is normally class.
