Hi, can anybody help me out? Im looking to get involed with football hurling or maybe 5 a side in or around D4. Long time since I've been a member of any club but really want to get back into something.

I know Ranleagh Gaels are always looking for new members. They're a newish club AFAIK and play at a junior level. I imagine they have a fair few migrants from the country on the team as well, so it would probably be fairly welcoming to newcomers.

They train out in UCD, which shouldn't be too fat from you in D4.

Other than that, there's 5 a side pitches in UCD and also in Ringsend and Irishtown, but you may have to organise you're own teams for that.
