Just did the same thing. We all know Alone in the Dark is far from the greatest game on Earth, but at that price and with that big a box of stuff I couldn't say no.

Thanks for reply Alan. I've used Visa Electron with no problems. They charged 99p extra for delivery to ROI.

Probably sold out. Zavvi had the sale pages up at midnight & there were already posts about it on avforums.com at that time. For future reference their specials seem to run from midnight to midnight.

I can attest to the fact that the pages go dead on Zavvi when the item is out of stock - I was trying to get Killzone 2 last week and it did the same thing and it was very much sold out.

Haven't a clue what the game is about , but i ordered it for my son because everybody here said it was good. Only placed my order at 22.08 and it said it would be delivered in two working-days

my post was aimed generally for anyone who wanted to buy the game cheaply

maybe standard editions but still very good value if you just want to play the game and your not interested in stuff like a dvd of the making of the game or an art book.

The box was in a clothy coal type bag as was another delivery that i got. Is this a new thing? The address labels were on the big bags. Never saw it before, didn't know what the postman was handing me this morning.:o:o

You get a nice art book, a DVD, a figure, and the game.

Probably won't even get around to playing the game, let alone read the book or watch the DVD.

So it took 10 days from dispatch is this normal- I bought a dvd from them and got a dispatch mail on monday- nothing arrived yet.
