Are ticket exchanges allowed on the forum? Need to swap 2 Premium Level tickets for any 3 of another category.

Trying to get tickets for the Legends game but can't seem to do so on Ticketmaster. I presume its not sold out? would tickets be available at the gate?

Anyone get their tickets for the Scottish game yet?

Usually go to Edinburgh each time Ireland are playing and each time we just pick up our tickets at Murrayfield an hour before the game.

Once you order online with the SRU, just pick them up at the portacabin thingy just inside the gates of the stadium.

Maybe not the right place to post this, but I was wondering if a fellow Ulsterman somewhere might be able to help me out...

So...need a bit of help with the ticket office. I ordered four tickets to Sarries-Ulster off Ulster's ticket site. So far so good. This was the first time I'd booked online, as I normally pay on the day if I'm over in Belfast and buy from the visiting club for games in England (currently live over here). Anyway, I clearly forgot to read the small print, and apparently away tickets are only able to be picked up in person from the TO. I'm hoping this might be different for such a high profile match, but yeah, that's what the booking confirmation message says.

I've sent them an email explaining that I live in Sheffield and won't be over in Ireland until at least May...how likely is it that they'll make an exception? And am I definately right that they won't be posted out (this is really confusing me as I've paid £1 for postage...but they have said quite clearly they don't post for awaydays). They haven't got back to me yet after two days.

I have 3 Heineken Cup Final tickets that I'd like to swap for 3 Amlin Final tickets if anyone is interested in swapping? No cash involved just straight swap, can you pm if interested.
ok'd this with a mod before posting.

Gone - 3 very happy Leinster fans

I have 4 tickets for the Amlin final that I would like to swap for the HEC final.
Would prefer to have 4 together or 2 sets of 2, as I'm taking the kids along.
All 4 for the Amlin final are together in the South stand.

    Thanks
    sam

not certain that this post will stay long.

Leinster tweeted yesterday that they are permitting ticket swaps / sales on their forum on babblingbrook - http://forum.leinsterfans.com/index.php

Failing that, Twitter seems a good place to organise tickets.

Bernard Jackman sorting me out at the moment!

    Thanks Emmet,
I've tried to register for that site without success - not sure what the problem is!
If you know anyone on there looking to swap tickets please feel free to point them in my direction.

    thanks

Disappointing to see tweets this morning about a certain RFC president (who also happens to work for a sports travel co) selling South stand Amlin final tickets for €125 each :(

There are some Six Nations tickets available in Block 106 in the Aviva on Ticketmaster, all 3 games. I reckon they'll all be snapped up very fast but I grabbed some for each game

Nice one! Managed to get 2 for scotland, but for Wales there are only 3 seats left and it won't let me just buy 2 as you can't leave single seats!!! damn ticketmaster!!!!

I'd say very slim, but if the weather is rotten and you are in the usual suspect type pubs you might get lucky and pick one up.

where would be the best place to find a ticket tomorrow if I went up to the match without a ticket and was looking around for one.

Where would be the best location to find one and a place where somebody would be if they were going to sell one off. Do you think that the chances of getting a ticket tomorrow are very very slim?

I know that I have gone to GAA matches in Croker and picked up one on the street a few times but I have never tried it yet for the rugby??

Best to try Ticketmaster; the odd one or two pop up daily but it's literally the odd one or two. Clubs don't sell their tickets to the general public, and especially not to a stranger, so I would not advise trying this .

Clubs got their quotas some time ago for the 6 nations games. It would make sense that bigger clubs get more but I don't know for sure.

Why would it make sense for bigger clubs to get more tickets, wouldnt that logic mean people in Leinster/Munster would get more than Connaught

Clubs got allocation before Christmas and tickets come about 2 weeks before the match.

Clubs get a number of tickets based roughly on number of playing members / number of teams fielded. So in theory a club fielding AIL, J1-J5 and a women's team will get more than a club fielding one junior team.

Each club is entitled to a certain minimum number though.

Tickets not sold via clubs will be sent back to irfu and go on public sale.

The other tickets are distributed through supporters club, provinces and then to the irfu sponsors and players personal allocation.

I also think tickets to clubs are based on previous years sales. So if a club sells its full allocation it won't have an issue getting that next year.

Club allocations are based on two factors only, what division you play in and how many adult teams you have. This is the case for all junior clubs. Tickets are based on a two year commitment, they get same allocation in 2015 as 2014. Clubs are given opportunity to reduce their allocation or indeed apply for more tickets for each two year commitment period.

Yep. However, if you're a Senior club with 4 teams, you'll get a lot more tickets than a Junior club with 4 teams.
The likes of Blackrock get about 450 tickets per match!
    Provincial breakdown is roughly:
    Leinster clubs 15000 tickets
    Munster clubs 7500 tickets
    Ulster clubs 15000 tickets
    Connacht 700!!
The rest are ten year tickets, sponsors etc IIRC

Can't be certain on three of those absolute figures (been a while since i was at a meeting discussing this stuff) but Leinster and Ulster each definitely get roughly double what Munster get and Connacht get next to nothing.

Sure yeah, senior clubs get a lot more. Junior clubs allocation could be as low as 40. Big difference between Munster and other big two ok, wasn't aware it was that big.

Leinster junior club allocations can be as low as 20.
At lower levels, it's 20 tickets per adult team the club fields.
To be fair, the ticketing committee will usually throw them a few extra tickets if they ask nicely
