    I think all this "friendliest city" lark is nonsense tbh. Wherever you go, you will have your sound people and then you have the assholes.

    But at a push, I wouldn't count Dublin as a particularly friendly city. The local taxi drivers you can have a bit of craic with - and then there are the surly shop assistants who can barely function a smile.

    Now Donegal people seem lovely - was there a few weeks ago, and the service we got everywhere was most definitely served with a smile!
