Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Digital P&S Camera advise - Budget €100 - 150

    Hi All,

I'm looking for a reasonable P&S digital camera to have to hand for family shots etc when I'm not lugging my film F70.

Had a couple of small digitals before but always had small issues like massive battery use etc. so would probably prefer something with a good battery life - would this mean a non AA set up ?

I need a camera with a good shutter speed as my 3 year old tries to charge to get the camera and I'd like to get the odd photo with more than his hand in it. :D

    I was looking at these Panasonic Lumixes on MyMemory.co.uk - http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Digital-Cameras/Panasonic/Panasonic-Lumix-DMC-FS3-8.1MP-Digital-Camera---Silver or http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Digital-Cameras/Panasonic/Panasonic-Lumix-DMC-FS6-Digital-Camera---Black - any comments ?

Also my mother is flying back from Romania tomorrow so if there are any recommendations for cameras that may be in a duty free can you let me know as that might be a better option.

    Thanks in advance.

Hi V1llianous, I've added a sticky thread which is the ultimate guide (even if i do say so myself) to help you pick and buy your next camera.

Please give the thread a road test and if that doesn't clear things for you, post any follow on questions that you may have here.

    Good luck with it.
