Travelling from Slovenia to Greece along adriatic coast-advice?

    Hi,
I'm considering travelling along the adriatic coast from Slovenia, via Croatia (incl the islands), Montenegro, Albania, and on to Greece. Is this a safe route? I know most of the travelling through Montenegro and Albania will be by bus, but what I'm wondering is are these countries safe enough for a lone female traveller? Has anyone done this route before?

My other option would be Slovenia, Croatia, train to Bulgaria and then on to Greece. Overall I would be allowing about a week to 10 days for either journey and then hoping to go island hopping in Greece.

    Any advice would be welcome,

    Lola x
