    Hi,

We are looking at putting 3 of these 1200w infrared heaters into a handball alley with a timer switch so that they are not left on when not in use. The switch will be set for about 5 minutes so that a person has to press the switch again to turn the heaters on for another 5 minutes.

Here is the link to the heaters:

What is the best way to wire them up to achieve this and also does anyone know would they use some sort of standard element so that they can be replaced easily?

    Thanks for any help/advice.

the usual would be a digital coin meter and contactor power switching.for your unmetered arrangement maybe a push switch/stat and contactor or even switch/occupancy sensor/stat and contactor.a sparkie will be able to connect once you sort out the control wiring and heater positions.the coin meter would have manual overide for competitions etc. so you may need to incorporate that into the control wiring as well via a key switch
.nb:i assume these are for the spectator side?they wont be suitable for wall mounting inside the court area

The good thing about those particular ones is that they have a 10m lead as well.
