    Hello,

For various reasons - tiling a bathroom before having a tiler. Wanted to ask - does it matter it the tiles are large or small - for cutting and amout of tiles that will be wasted.

For the walls (want to tile around two windows, do the ledges etc.) have selected a 30x45cm tile. Does it matter that it's not a more standard 20x30 type size?

This does not matter at all its personal choice, from large panel tiles to small 1cm mosaic any good tiler will just get on with it.

It should not matter on the sizes you mention it only really matters on larger tiles like 60 x 30 and 60 x 48 ( Usually marble)

I am not to sure if you have a shower tray in the room. One word of caution if you do.

    1. Measure for a shower door after tiling

    2. If your fitting a quad door(quarter circle) try buy tin wall tiles as the adjustments are poor on the cheap quad doors

PS: have you basin and ped taken out and the pan and cistern. The tile job looks much neater.

Believe it or not I rec this all the time unless the house is for investment reasons and is being rented,
