Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

25th Wedding Anniversary Present

    Hi,
I know my parents do not like their Wedding Album so I wanted to get it updated a bit for their 25th Anniversary. First of all, where can I get a nice wedding album? And second, I want to get the photos copied but they are cello taped into the album. Is there anywhere I can go to get them safely removed or is there anything I can do?
    Thanks biggrin.gif

Smacks of copyright issues to be honest. Essentially without express permission from the original photographer, they will hold onto the copyright of those images until they die and at that point it transfers over to their estate which in essence means that you can't do what you are proposing to do unless you go back to the original source.

In reality I suspect that the only legal way is to revisit your original photographer. We recently had threads on how some one hour labs were 'killing the industry' on such a point of abusing the copyright. To be fair to the original photographer even though it may have been a *long* time ago they still have their legal rights.

If you contact them and get permission then no issue arises.
