Steve has almost nothing at this point. We've been told over and over again that all of his assets are completely illiquid and worth very little compared to his debt. Buying Max came close to wiping him out.

Tracy has her sights set on her and Steve being together and she realises now it's him or be left on the shelf, she's no spring chicken

Tracey's always been crazy about Steve, since way back when they were teenagers and she had a different head.

    She's had a few heads.

Does anyone know if the dental work has been carried through from actress to actress?

It's a pity she didn't get a new one as an early Christmas present last year. Preferably one connected to a better actor than Kate Ford.

I haven't a clue why Bill is marrying Pam, she's a non stop chattering bat. Totally two faced about Molly as well, she accuses Kevin of having destroyed her and Tyrones marraige. Sorry Pam, it takes two to Tango and Molly was a cheating, conniving liar who was only too happy to carry on behind Tyrones back for months and then dump him when she was fed up with him.

Bill is OK, traditionally a womaniser with a history of cheating, so I wonder how long the marraige will last.

When Pam first arrived her husband had thrown her out for having an affair. It wasn't her first time cheating on him/her other husbands either. I can't see how she can take the moral high ground now.

Seems Michael Le Vell aka Kevin Webster has been arrested under suspicion of child abuse. Wonder how Corrie will deal with this, they'll have to get rid of him for a few months till the court case is over.

I think Len Fairclough's career in Corrie ended this way too back in the day.

Coronation Street star Michael Le Vell has denied allegations that he abused a schoolgirl and said he will do “everything in his power” to clear his name.
The actor, who plays mechanic Kevin Webster in the popular soap, was arrested last week on suspicion of a sexual offence.
Mr Le Vell (46) was arrested at his Cheshire home on Friday by Greater Manchester Police before being taken to a police station, where he was held for questioning.
In a statement this morning, he said: “I strenuously deny these allegations and will do everything in my power to prove my innocence.”
A police spokesman said: “A 46-year-old man from Hale has been arrested on suspicion of a historic sexual offence.

“The man was arrested at an address in Hale at 8am on Friday September 30, 2011. He has been bailed by police until 16 November 2011, pending further inquiries.

I think the actor that played len was found not guilty. He was fired after that if i recall for selling stories to the sunday papers (his own or the shows stories i cant remember).

Dont know anything about the Le Vell case but generally even if you're found innocent you're unfortunatly tarred for life.

I've heard it's an "historic case" so the child in question is an adult now and has decided to come forward with their complaint. I suspect that if he is found to be innocent he will keep his job. Back when he was on Red Dwarf Craig Charles was arrested and jailed on remand for rape. It didn't stop Corrie hiring him some years later. Though if Le Vell is found guilty he'll probably lose his job then.

I take it craig charles ended up being proven not guilty? Or is he actually a rapist?

The case was dismissed and while obviously none of us can ever know exactly what happened it seemed fairly cut and dry that it was a false allegation. The accuser's story changed a lot and the forensics didn't match her claims.

The specialist told him there are good signs about his illness, but he told Cheryl and Lloyd otherwise:rolleyes:

Surely not the WORST? I would have thought Rosie should have beaten her to that title!! I can't even watch Corrie anymore as she annoys me so much!!

Apparently she's considering leaving the show as she has been having lots of panic attacks. No harm, she's a terrible actress!

Why do they sometimes turn Deirdre's character into a complete moron? Watching her tonight dancing around to her Hooked On Classics CD was just plain idiotic. She's a reasonably intelligent woman so it's completely out of character for her to be doing that, or for her to be oblivious to the fact that her "pottery" is total rubbish.

The comedy and humour in Coronation Street is usually spot-on (that's the main reason I watch it), but the writers are getting it unbelievably wrong with Deirdre.

I agree the comedy is hit and miss these days, I don't laugh as much as I used to:( they should make Norris and Roys mother (whose name i can't remember) best friends who sit in the Rovers and pass comments on all the goings on :D oh how I miss Blanche

totally agree with you on that one. In regard to the ken and deirdre 'pottery' storyline, well im so fecking glad there nt going on and on about it anymore. It was one of the most pathetic story lines in a long time. Used to pain me to watch it. Seriously Cringe-worthy. Also deirdre has put on a bit of weight on her belly..which is fine, but it annoys me the way the shows stylists keep dressing her in those ridiclous belts that are stuck up around her middle. Looks so awful. Poor deirdre.

You obviously missed the bedtime story about Deirdre's belts.:D

Are we meant to believe that Steve is actually into the relationship with Tracey? I'm not buying it. If the friendship/partnership which started once they agreed to keep this pregnancy had been allowed to play out for a little bit longer I could see why Steve would feel like giving things with Tracey another go. But the way it happened in the last few episodes has been too fast.

I was assuming on Friday that Steve was just going to lead her on until the twins are born, as he did the last time they dated so he could get on Amy's birth cert. But tonight I got the impression that we're supposed to think he's being genuine.
