Will Gail be found guilty of Joes murder. They've filmed two endings to this storyline.

I'm hoping guilty at least until at least the 50th celebrations in December. Also because I like the woman she's sharing the cell with; would like to see more of her.

I heard Helen Worth say that was it on GMTV and was waiting for her to say she did not know which one they use. That drives me mad. How would she not know. The programme is filmed weeks ahead. If she is working on the street she obviously has been freed and if shes not on the street, well then, she hasnt. Sometimes actors say the stupidest of things.

I have a question about Tony's accomplice. I don't know if I missed this or if it was never mentioned but why is the accomplice helping Tony? What is he getting out of it?

Oh God if she does go down I bet we'll see the return of psycho David!
On the upside if she did end up in jail it would be great to see her being let out (after a while) and slowly getting more mentally unstable by the day until she goes mad unleashing all the evil she experienced from her exes on different characters!:D:D
I mean could anyone be 'normal' after living her life?!

Didn't see Monday nights episode yet. Is Maria back?

As for Gail, I read somewhere that Tracey gets Charlie Stubbs murder pinned on Gail and Tracey gets let out. I hope this is not true as it is totally ridiculous.

What are the odds on Hayley being one of the victims in the fire? Her charachter has nose dived recently.

She is not leaving so I assume she is found innocent but if she is will Tracey be sent back in

Deirdre Barlow is to embark on a passionate affair with gigolo Lewis Archer - only to be caught on CCTV.

Lewis - played by Don't Wait Up actor Nigel Havers makes a play for Deirdre at her stepson Peter's betting shop.

She can't resist and they enjoy a steamy snog.

But her husband Ken's son Peter (Chris Gascoyne) sees the CCTV footage - and shows his dad.

The Barlow marriage had seemed back on track after Ken (William Roache) dumped barge-dwelling actress Martha Fraser (Stephanie Beacham).

He is furious with Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) calling her "pathetic".

And Lewis's crimper lover Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) is also devastated.

An insider told TV Biz: "Ken is disgusted. He can't believe his eyes and erupts into absolute fury.

"But Audrey is just as heartbroken. She had planned a whole future with Lewis."

At least it's not with Dev again.

Would have thought Ciaran over Lewis though.

Hopefully Ken will kick her out and moce some nice young one into Number 1.

I think they should bring back Stephanie Beacham as Martha and her and Ken get it on in Number 1. I think she is a great actress, and to be honest still hot for a woman of her age.

*** Interesting Stephanie Beacham Fact - Did you know she is deaf in one ear? ***

    Err - pardon ?

I just hope they bring her back - she's luscious

Payback time!! But seriously does he have the right to be furious? He had an affair and was seconds away from leaving Deirdre with only a letter as explanation and she without batting an eyelid takes him back as if nothing happened! And he's pissed cos she snogged someone?!!
I do feel bad for Audrey, I actually thought Lewis was going to be one of the good guys..I'm shocked that he picked Deirdre to do the dirt with..woulda thought Liz would be a better choice!

Yeah I heard that...All the scenes she filmed with Ken walking along the canal he had to be on her good side!

    I didn't know that.

William Roache (Ken) is also 50 per cent deaf in both ears and needs visual cues when filming his scenes. Must have been difficult enough to film those scene.

EX-CON John Stape hides a deadly secret from his friends and family.

The sinister teacher conceals the body of his friend Colin Fishwick in the wreckage of Underworld.

Stape (Graeme Hawley, 36) stole Fishwick’s identity so he could continue working as a teacher after his release from jail.

But Stape goes into meltdown when Fishwick unexpectedly returns from Canada.

And we can exclusively reveal that Fishwick will end up dead after the two men clash.

Desperate to buy himself some time, Stape hides the body in the factory, which is being reconstructed after it exploded during the siege.

Builders at the site pour concrete over the exact spot where he’s hidden Fishwick’s body, burying it forever.

But Stape is still not quite in the clear. The problem is his friend Charlotte Hoyle is also involved in Fishwick’s death.

Stape tells her: “They’ve gone and buried Colin for us. He’s now underneath a solid cement floor that’s going to be here longer than we are.”

But Charlotte (Becky Hindley) is not so sure and argues that someone is going to miss him.

She tells Stape: “He was my friend. I’m not happy that he’s just lying there under tons of cement.

“The truth’s bound to come out. His family are bound to ask questions.”

John tries to reassure her, saying: “But that’s just it, we don’t have to do anything. The only thing we have to do is nothing!”

But factory boss Carla Connor (Alison King, 37) spots him on site minutes after the concrete is spread over the body.

Can you imagine what it was like filming the scenes with Martha?

William:"Yes martha I really enjoy the theatre..(to producer) Oh dear stephanies head is blicking the cue cards again.
    Stephanie:"Pardon?'
William:"I said your head is blocking the cue cards again"
Stephanie:"No my head is not too hard, and dont call me hen"
Director:"Ok switch places and we will move the lighting"
    Both:"Pardon?"
    Director:"I SAID, switch places"
Director to lighting specialist:"Move the lighting"
    William:"We weren't fighting"
Stephanie;"A sighting? A sighting of what?"
    Director:"LUNCH!"

    Must have been a nightmare.

He is such an eejit that one. The only reason i dont want him to be found out is I cant bear another 2 weeks of fizz crying her eyes out, and Rosie being self-righteous.

How many ex-corrie characters have ended up being covered in concrete. Dougie was one for sure. Was there another?

The signs of what is like is there with a while. Getting free tickets for the theatre and charging the women he takes out for them says it all about him.

Would explain the second person to die in the street. Tony is suppose to be one.

at the risk of sounding insensitive i think its a bit silly cancelling corrie this week due to the cumbria shootings.
its not like they stopped making movies about the war in iraq after them soldiers got killed over there.

I suppose its because corrie is one of the most watch TV programs in britain. Possibly everyone who was affected are potential viewers. That said, they should cancel the News as well if they dont want to upset people.

To be honest I think its more Corrie(Or Granada or ITV) dont want to be associated with Cumbria. It would only need one person to suggest that the killer, Bird, got the idea from Coronation street to risk very bad publicity.

    It's a lose-lose situation for them, really.

If they went ahead as normal and aired the episodes, they would have been attacked with complaints about them being insensitive, etc.

To prevent that (and out of respect, I'm sure), they postponed it, and they are still getting grief.

    They can't win!

On the Deirdre and Nigel Havers thing...I can't bear the thoughts of her in another passionate clinch, getting her specs all steamed up. I still haven't recovered from her and Dev that time:(. She's going to be thrilled with herself, has she ever turned any man down???(I could say the same for Liz and Sally) If a man equal in looks to Stephanie Beecham appeared in a barge on the canal and showed an interest she'd be leaping on top of him bag and baggage and Ken wouldn't see her heels for dust....silly cow:mad:.
On the mad Jon Stape thing, I, like an earlier amusing poster said... can't bear to listen to Fizz sobbing miserably for the next six months if he gets locked up again. Life's crappy enough without having to look at miserable soap characters, get over it Fizz ffs! He's a nutcase.
