What a strange thing to say

Why? In the story her and her father have horrific tempers and beat their spouses, there's a gene pool you want to be getting into alright!!

In fairness I don't think thats gonna carry in the genes...so just abandon the baby because it could 'potentially' have mental health issues?? :/

If the tables were turned, would you expect a woman to leave a child with a violent father?

It's a programme lads, not real life, ditching the child and crazy mother won't make any difference, don't want to ruin it for you but....they're not the baby's actual parents!

First and last time in this thread, I thought it was a discussion of a fictitious programme, yiz are taking it a bit seriously.

No but you were the one who made the point at first..

So not talking real life, youre talking about soapland, Tyrone would leave the child behind? I don't think they're gonna throw out that storyline?

Either way whether youre talking real life or fake storyline, its a warped point to have made

Domestic violence happens in real life too!!

As its a subject thats very real in too many peoples lives, I find it upsetting.

Well..I've been in a violent relationship previously myself, and I have cried looking at some episodes..I keep saying its only fiction but still!

Just watched last night's, I was having a heart attack! Poor Tyrone:(...i was heart sorry for him with the tears flowing down his wee face. Little Ruby is sooo gorgeous, bless her:). I understand why he's putting up with so much to keep her safe:(.

I hope Fiz is genuinely having feelings for him and isn't confusing heartfelt pity for love.

And how thick is Fizz buing Tyrone a card for his birthday and giving it to him considering she knows what Kirsty is like?

God I hate Leanne when she starts that shrewish screeching ...it gets on me nerves

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,300 ✭✭✭✭casio4

So Fiz and Tyrone have got it on:eek:, there is a possibility that she could get pregnant with his child so when it all goes to court down the line and he fights Kirsty for custody of Ruby, Kirsty might have a case that he was having an affair with Fiz

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,004 ✭✭✭Ann22

Yeah, Leanne annoys me when she goes on a rant. It annoyed me tonight the way she was so angry at Nick..and all the times Peter made a show of Simon:rolleyes:. I thought it was a bit far fetched Nick laying into Peter. Didn't seem believeable that he do that.

I see Tyrone and Fiz got it on upstairs:). Fair fcuks to him and his arm so sore. He winces if anyone so much as breathes on it...Fiz must've did all the work.

I laughed at the gormless face of Kevin arriving in the pub and Kirsty giving him daggers:D

I'm enjoying Kirk's wee chubby stepson:)..the mother's so much like Cilla tho'.

We both described Tyrone and Fiz's lurve making the same way:D

I have to laugh at Fiz if she dont keep away from poor Tyrone he will be dead :p I know they "love each other" but wait till he has full custody of the child and Kirsty is gone or locked up

I cant wait to see Eva's face when she hears about Kylie and Nick hooking up

I know!! Kirsty works right across the road and Tyrone is constantly making up allibis to excuse his Fiz-meeting absences that are so easily checked out ..and the alleyway behind the houses...there's always someone lurking at their gates or listening across the wall. It's an adulterer's nightmare of a street!!

Yes...I'm still gob smacked at the way Nick thumped Peter. Surprised Peter didn't knock 7 bells out of him later :D

Cilla's son is one of the more likeable kids in the soaps. Sorta feel sorry for him...does she not feed him on anything but chips :)

And given how easily Emily fell asleep, Im not sure if she would be my first choice as Babysitter. Are there no teen girls around?

Struck me yesterday - where is Liam? (as in Maria's child?). Both her and Marcus were in the pub.

Soap Character's children are rarely seen.

Where's Fizz's daughter whilst she's constantly sneaking around with Tyrone? She never has the poor little mite.

Worst soap for it is Eastenders, though. Oscar Branning doesn't even seem to exist any more. The Brannings never have him and Dot's disappeared. Who's watching him??

Tommy Moon seems to be alone upstairs in the pub all day and night whilst his parents work, socialise and have affairs. Who watches him?? Maybe Roxy lets her forgotten daughter mind him whilst she's working downstairs, seeing as Jack never has her either, even after he fought so hard to keep her. Yeah, that custody battle was really worth it. Tommy would have been better off with crazy Ronnie.

Poor Lola dotes on her child and has her taken away by social services, yet the rest of the square completely forget they even have small children and no one says a word to 'em!

Emmerdale is the only soap where the children are ever seen in their parent's care at all.

    S Dot's disappeared.
It showed Dot leaving for a while, think she said she was going to visit her granddaughter (open to correction on that one), she'll be back early new year so I believe

Wtf? A football for Christmas? Shinguards? All nice side-presents but who in real life expects a wealthy grandfather like Ken to only get his Grandson a quite cheap football?

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,278 ✭✭✭✭leahyl

    Leannes drunken performance - classic!
