Peter is a great character and actor. Don't know why they would kill him off. Thats if he is dead.

Regarding it being live. Not a chance. Id say a few scenes were. The rovers maybe.

Regarding the other scences. Not a chance. Logistical nightmare and near on impossible.

I think it was a bit of a disgrace saying it was all live.

    Brilliant episode.
I had the subtitles on for my mam-the subtitles were not live so i could see what was meant to be scripted and there were very few things.
Dev was with Sunita in the hospital and he said it should be me in that shop, instead of it should be me in that bed. Other than that it was all little things.Still not sure bout Izzy standing up-she picked a strange night for her first time out of her chair if it was meant to be.
Much better than the Eastenders live episode!!

A bit of trivia: The current actor who plays Peter is the sixth actor to play him.

Why would Keef Duffy die? Did he inhale a bit of smoke or wha?

Raging I missed these last few eps of the crash - anywhere I can watch them UTVplayer doesn't seem to work!

Anyone else want Nick to die instead of Peter (that is if he really is dead)

Peter and the actor who plays are the only male totty on the show for me

The writers could have got rid of lot more waste of space characters with the tram crash

What?? I know he was a bit of druggie a while ago, what is the sex offender stuff? Are you on about in Corrie?

I thought Jane Danson was the stand out performance. She was especially fantastic at that (better be) red-herring ending.

I hated all the Becky/Kylie crap. Every time they came on screen it was a huge deflation.

Eta: Which man has 3 children? That's obviously a surprise death.
there not officially married because they never signed register

They are. In the UK a marriage legally begins the moment the registrar pronounces them husband and wife. (If it was a civil partnership it would be a different story because they only become legal when the 2nd partner signs, though the ceremony isn't necessary so that would have been quicker.)

Does anyone else think it's mad that they can get the priest, the registrar and the 'special licence' to marry them, before they can get the doctor who has to operate?

No, most hospitals have a 24 hour chaplain service, the specialist surgeon could be on the other side of Manchester or even in another city.

Nah. Reality. Wasn't it in the tabloids? Prostitutes, knickers etc
