Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lost Luas ticket

So, on my way home today I discovered that I actually retained my expired 30 day Luas ticket and (presumably) threw out my brand new, perfectly good one. Because of the stupid ticket machines not printing your Student Travelcard number on the ticket (unlike the train ones, strangely), I'm guessing that there's nothing I can do in this situation? I have the receipt for the ticket, and I'm sure I can get a printout from my Laser card with the transaction too..

Am I screwed? I'm a particularly poor student right now, so I'd really prefer not to have to shell out €41 again for a service I've already paid for, and for which I have proof of purchase.

    Thanks for any advice offered.

Give the call centre 1800 300 604 a call now and explain to them what happened. Office is open until 7pm.

They are very helpful. I lost mine and they refunded me.

Rang the number, they said No.

How did you get them to do that?

    She's a girl, that's how.

Myself and my girlfriend were busted on the luas when we didn't get tickets. She rang up and was let off. I rang up and was told that a young lad wouldn't be able to go abroad to find work if he had a criminal record.

    I payed the fine.

God bless the easily swooned males manning the luas call centre!
