    Happy with the squats. 99% sure on depth for the 115 and 120.

    Deadlifts were slooowwww and tough.

    Pullups were tough, grip was tired after the deads.

    Sickened I missed the 110kg bench. Probably could have gotten it if I'd exploded a bit more from the bottom but I was a bit slow and it stuck about 2 inches up. Made sure of it on the 107.5, wasn't too hard.

    haha, funnily enough, i prefer pulling without it, i hit 120x 3 piss easy without it and off 10kg plates, yet 135 is bolloxing me off the 20s!, im wondering if the momentum i can get off the 10s is making it easier :D

    More Core Work

    Felt good on the squats, first time doing deficit SLDLs. Should I feel them in my lower back or hamstrings more? Only really felt it on the lower back. Got some videos which are uploading to youtube now...

    vids cool! i feel them in my hammies and lower back pretty badly, i basically go down with a slight bend in my knees, feel the stretch, bend knees slightly more and go lower until im basically at the ground. Probably wrong but meh.

    afaik straighter legs hits hams more, bent legs hits back more. but i feel it in my back too, which makes sense since you bend over with a straight back and hold a lot of weight.

    I was rocking out watching those vids. Classic ACDC.

    That squat rack scares me. Can the bar roll forward from the rack position on to the floor? It looks like there is no clip to stop it?

    Have you ever failed a squat? Could be dodgy with no supports.

    Your knees are coming a bit forward. Maybe try a slightly wider stance. I think the last set was probably best.

    Just bought back in black the other day, haven't stopped listening to it. great album for training to!

    Yeah, I've been at the rowing club for AGES to invest in a new squat rack. They're doing up the weights room soon so maybe they'll get one then. It's slightly angled so it doesn't roll forward onto the floor! The thing was made for a bout a fiver 20 years ago or something. :rolleyes:

    I have failed a couple times, just threw the weight backwards and jumped forwards. Was taught this by some top strength and conditioning coach we had a few sessions with on the national squad. :edit: - rowing squad :P

    Might try a wider stance so. My stance was a bit wide on the last set actually so it might be just that. :)

    SLDLs added now too.
