i saw a jacket i liked in town the other day, €150... now i thought this was a little pricey, just bought the exact same jacket, new, on ebay for €86!

either they need to find a new supplier, or they're marking their stuff up way too much.

i was away for a year, but heard clothes were supposed to have come down?

Was the jacket on ebay from a shop or an ordinary seller?

Normal everyday sellers on ebay dont have the same costs as a shop does so you cant really compare the two.

Pirate/counterfeit goods are not totally unknown on eBay....

Also, if a private seller, maybe it's second hand, they bought it and now need some quick funds.

    ebay shop.

agree, but here, you'd expect to pay an extra 10, 20%... that's over 40%!

I just bought a camera yesterday from an English (click and brick shop) and the difference between the Irish shop and the English shop is about €250!

I know that Im supposed to buy Irish but in this recessionary times I couldn't justify the differnce.

Yeah, thats what I was asking to do, not just cut & paste that info, it doesn't really tell much at all, you have to beware of possible tricks.

So can you provide more information or not?
