Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anybody have a gas stove and if so are you pleased with it compared to a wood burning stove.

Does the stove get as hot as a wood burning stove?

depending on the size a gas stove can give you up to 7kw of heat but the running cost is a lot higher per hour. Are you on nat gas or bottled gas?

Thanks for replying. My question does the actual stove get as hot to touch like a fuel stove would it give the same radiant heat it will stand out from chimney. We are on natural gas

yeah its the same amount of heat if comparing simailr stoves. The stove does get very hot as in put your hand on it and you will be burnt.I,m not as well up on nat gas but I'd guess if its an imput of 7-9kw it should equate to a running cost of about 70 cent per hour so a good bit more expensive than solid fuel but a lot cleaner too.
