Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Saw this too ;

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/germany/5291891/Germany-to-ban-paintball-in-wake-of-high-school-shooting.html

    Experts from Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservatives and her Social Democrat (SPD) coalition partners have agreed to outlaw all games in which players shoot at each other with pellets.

    The governing parties say paintball trivialises violence and risks lowering the threshold for committing violent acts.

    This so-called game plays down violence, leading to the danger that people have fewer inhibitions about shooting each other," said Dieter Wiefelsputz, of the Social Democrats.

    Owners of paintball arenas, which are already out of bounds for under-18s, said they felt they were easy targets in what opposition politicians have referred to as "populistic placebo politics".

    Arne Petry, spokesman for the German Paintball League, said: "Paintball is not about simulating bloodbaths – the most you're going to end up with is a bruise or two."

    They have also been trying to ban first person shooter video games in recent years so if this goes through my guess would be that FPS video games will be next.

    What the :eek:

    Outlawing paintball? This has to be the most retarded thing I've ever heard of.

    Yes it is a complete knee jerk reaction. They will be banning cars next because of road deaths.

    It would be more like banning bumper cars because every couple of years someone gets into a real car and deliberately tries to run down people (such as happened in holland about a week ago).
