Nokia memory cards

Have a nokia 5200 with a 2gb memory card. Im getting a new phone and was wondering if this memory card is compatible with other phones, nokia or not? Have loads of stuff stored on it so i want a phone that i can just plug the card into and it'll work.

Yes, the cards work in other phones, but i wouldn't let that be the deciding factor in deciding on a new phone. Memory cards are very cheap and you can transfer all your files across to a new card easily.

Won't work with Sony Ericssons because they use M2 cards, should work with 99.9% of everything else though.

Some SE use Micro SD, like the K850i.

Any phone that takes a MicroSD will work with it.

I would agree with what alanstrainor said, these cards are really cheap. If you want a phone that doesn't take it, its not the end of the world.
