    Hey, im going to be in cork for the summer and was jsut wondering is there any kickboxing classes around the city/suburbs that ye know off??? Never done it before so beginers classes if possible, all replies welcome...

    Hey Nuts,

    There are 2 clubs I know are good.

    One is the Sit Jai Pech (spelling....) in the Sunbeam in Blackpool. It's definitely worth a trial. You will be fit within no time and they're really helpful with beginners. you'd be best to go on a Tuesday or Thursday but PM me if you're interested and I'll send you the trainer,s number.

    Otherwise I know there's one on McCurtain street - don't know much bout it though.

    there's a place in penrose whalf that does kickboxing and one on shandon street, not sure of the names but they are easy to find

    The MIKO Kickboxing Academy has moved from Penrose Wharf to a much bigger centre located in the Annex, Centre Park House, Centre Park Road, Cork - opposite Marina Commercial Park. (ample free parking).

    Tone up, lose weight, keep fit, learn how to defend yourself. Train for competition or just for yourself in Corks only full time Kickboxing Academy. Fully equipped matted gym with bags, pads, shields, etc. Classes taught by Paul Coffey, Irish National and World Kickboxing Champion, Level 3 Coach,Level 2 Tutor Irish Martial Arts Commission, Irish Sports Council, National Coaching And Training Centre University Limerick. Also specialising in Ladies Only Kick Fit Classes.
