Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thanks for that, was looking for it lately - I've been trying to convince some members of the fairer sex recently that they will not turn into a bodybuilder after a few squats.

I must try this coffee buzz before training. How long before lifting is best?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,818 ✭✭✭Inspector Coptoor

most caffeine products say 20-30 mins.
It takea me 30 mins to get to the gym after work so I have a can of low carb monster on the way out for 140mg of caffeine and then boom.

we determined that asking to work in with people and share equipment is too scary in case the person is mean or big. however furiously posting about it on the internet is A-OK

    The wheel or the toppings.

The Mega Wagon Wheel Family Meal Deal is a serious amount of food.

The Drink is the killer when trying to get through it.

Well that and the 5kg of carbs

The wheel, i've only ever witnessed it at half past 2 in the morning in gaffs after a hefty skinful of beer and some eejit whips out the mizzonis menu and orders 2 of them.

I came up with an idea to make my own antacid tablets. I got baking soda -sodium bicarbonate, and made it into a paste and spread it into a tray for making mini ice cubes. I then left it to dry out for a few days. Now I turned it over and out pop little hard cubes of baking soda which can be popped like pills. I now get ~1400 tablets for the price of 24!

Might be useful for glucose, electrolytes or creatine or other supps, not sure how creatine is OK to wet and then dry out, glucose should be fine.

It seems to have been taken down.

    It was incredible.
Literally everything you can do wrong this dude was doing.
Back arched like a railway bridge, starting the EPIC hitch before the bar even got to the knee.

And best of all a spotter was there counting off his reps....

Do any of ye know how to scale Crossfits Cindy workout? I don't want to do pull ups and I remember reading somewhere you can scale it to do rows instead of pull ups.
