Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He is 98kg, and totalled third amongst a field of 8 guys at least 30kg heavier than him with no weight classes.

And thats 425 below parallel in single ply.

    That's impressive, right?

Probably the best since Ed Coan imo. Even his raw numbers are outrageous. Something like 320/230/360 I think?!

    Quick question on my routine,
I'm going to be increasing my cardio over the next 10-12 weeks. Steadily doing more and more running each week, including some at the end of lifting days. Obviously this cuts in weight training time, so I'm cutting it down weights to the big copounds only for a while.

note: these are in addition to 2 cardio based days

    Option 1
Day 1: Squat (r), Front Squat(r), OH Press, Deadlift(r), [(r)=3 exercises rotate] + light cardio
    Day 2: Bench press, Pull-ups, Incline bench (a), Bent-over rows (a) [(a)= alternating] + light cardio

    Option 2
Day 1: Squat, OH Press, Front Squat, + light cardio
Day 2: Bench press, Pull-ups, deadlifts + light cardio

Basically 3 lifts a session for each option. I'm not going to change that as I just won't have the time or enery to do any mroe along with the cardio.
I'm not sure if option 1 makes sense the wat it is written, i rotate those 2 about. Every session I leave one out, then bring it back for two etc.
option 2 is obv simpler, but I'd rather keep DLs on leg day.

There is a promo video posted on Powerlifting watch.
Looks like it says 25th of something. But being that I can't read Cyrillic text I can only speculate.

No expert here and definately in no way qualified to be giving advice, so this should be taken with a pinch of salt.

I don't think that there would be a huge difference in results over the 10-12 weeks by choosing either option, as in all cases you will be doing 3 lifts per day, each a compound movement.

Personally I would favour option 1 as there are more exercises to chose from, so it might hit muscles from a different angle as you alternate (which can only be a good thing IMO) and also the changes might make the workouts seem a little less boring. You have a (r) after deadlifting, is this a typo? Again personally I love dead lifting, so it would never be a rotated exercise for me. So I would have no problem alternating between front and back squats, but O/H presses and dead lifts would remain constant.

Finally I think you might get better feed back from more knowledgeable folks if you asked one of the Mods to move your OP out of the off topic thread into a thread of it's own. It's kind of lost in here ;)

    (r) after Deadlifting is right. I'l always do OHP, but sometimes I leave out DL and do squats (both varis) only. I'm leaning towards option 1, mostly because it allows more flexibility. If the rake is taken, or don't feel like X or Y on a certain day etc.
Plus I'd rather keep DLs and squats together when cardio is involved and be able to get some KMs in on upper body day.
