Obviously its impossible to tell at this stage what happened, so i want to cover all option to prevent it happening again.
Thanks for the description of the structure around the carotid. I'm just wondering, is it possible that due to the position or shoulders, arms, clavicle, head, neck etc could the Sternocleidomastoid muscle be in a position to leave the carotid more exposed.

Or what about the external jugular? Can that contribute to choking, or rather dizziness. As its obviously less protected
Short answer to all of the above- I don't know. Again I'm not saying it's impossible, just in my experience it seems unlikely.

I need to drop a bit of weight (say 2kg to be safe) as a once off over the weekend, anybody give me a step by step for cutting water weight, or suggest a better way? Estimated effort required?

    I'm 5'6" and 71kg at the moment.

    $3.99 — Standard shipping
UK orders ship from London and takes 2-3 business days.
Other EU orders ship from USA and take 5-7 business days.

If you use ebay.com or ebay.co.uk you can sort your items by lowest price including shipping. There is an option to change "Shipping to IRL" then it detects in the auction if they ship to ireland or not, i.e. if they don't it will say "shipping not specified" -in which case you can email as suggested, I find 95% of people will ship to Ireland, I think many just do not even think of it, and want to avoid non-english speakers or known scamming regions.

ebay.ie is crap, it doesn't have this obvious search option. ebay really is astonishingly bad for trying to find stuff.

I did a quick search, and the link in the post above is cheaper than the ebay sellers, and I would rather deal with the proper lads anyway. But its handy to know tricks to search ebay in future.

I find I tire quicker and/or recover less between sets when on a cut so I often taper my warm-up so as to conserve energy for the work set(s).

    For example
    20kg x 5
    40kg x 4
    50kg x 3
    60kg x 2
    65kg x 5 *PB*

Thanks mate. This worked well on deadlifts was able to add another 10kg onto it.

I'm new enough to posting and forums so give me a hand here. Was there something that went on with ip gym that means you can't talk about it? I got stuff deleted for posting about it? Was there legal trouble after they shut? There was even a funny photo that got deleted that I'd like to see again.

What is this IP you speak of? I'd like to hear more.

Look, you can say what you like about it as long as it's within the boundaries of the charter. Posting in someones log is not the right place to do it though, that was the only problem and the reason the posts were deleted.

Having said that if you go on a one man "IP was crap" crusade in the forum, I'll lock that as well because it adds nothing to the forum. The same would be true for any gym. This forum is for constructive discussion.

If you have any questions about any of this, PM me.

What's a Snape? Since Hanley knows what it is I'm going to assume this is Harry Potter.

Also I know that Dumbledore is from Harry Potter.
