    it appears my 1 year old jack russell is gunshy. How do I get her out of this please? She normally runs with my 2 year old jack russell which has no such problems.

    I don't know anything about training hunting dogs, but I'd imagine gunshyness isn't 'fixable'.... Has she been gunshy since day 1 as a 3 month old?

    Post over in the Shooting/Hunting forum also. Some of the lads there would have tons of experience with gun dogs / shooting over dogs and could give you some valuable tips.

    further to the gunshyness, she's nervous of all loud noises. Usually though, she's very playfull and full of energy.
