Anyone notice how bloody aggressive Middlesbrough are? They're pushing and shoving as much as they want with nothing be done about it. Spidey is being shoved all over the place, ridiculous.

Players of the calibre of the likes of Newcastle's tonight shouldn't need a team talk to save themselves from relegation.

The players are as much to blame for this mess as the backroom, imo.

They are an absolute disgrace to be in this position.

It was Downing. I thought he should have shot aswell, but he would have had to do it with his right foot. Maybe doesn't fancy it as much with that side.

I'm only talking about this match. The right words from Shearer could really boost our players for the second half.

Owen isn't offering much though, still has enough pace to do these boro defenders, but his finishing isn't there
