Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

UCD compensation in exams...

    Basically, Im a first year student. Literally no idea whats going on in relation to compensation. My basic understanding is that if ur GPA is above 2.0 and u got an E it'll go to a pass...

    I have gotten 30% before taking the exam....Does that mean I just need to get 5% more in the exam and i will pass by compensation? Does it matter that i might get an NG or an F in the actual exam??

    Well as an NG is a no grade and you wouldn't get any percentage if you got that so it would matter...

    You need to pass 10 of your 12 modules and have a GPA above 2.2 I think though it could be 2.0.

    You shouldn't be aiming for an E in the exam though and spelling correctly will help bring your grade up a tad too ;)

    because you need an overall GPA of 2.0 from the rest of your modules to be able to have any E grades passed by compensation...and you need to have passed 75% of your Stage 1 modules
