Contour generation on standard AutoCAD

Hi, I don't know if it exists but is there some kind of add-on you can get for standard AutoCAd (2008) that allows you to generate contour lines based on the z coroordinates of points. I know you can do this on other versions of AutoCAD, but I don't want for out for new software. Thanks
