Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Indexing Photos

Recently somebody here requested that anybody posting photos to the more general threads might add a description so that they would be easy to find again after a few weeks.

I tend to enjoy threads where photos are categorised according to theme or photographic technique and found this piece enjoyable:

Perhaps tagging individual posts could also make photos easier to find over time?

I'm not sure anyone has this 'licked'. Some have decent workflows but i'd expect if people are like me then date at best is what images may be filed as.

I hate when i must go looking for something specific but love to browse visually.

I went through the same painful process when I started but i have it sorted now especially as I have been using Lightroom from its Beta days which is making it easier to search for specific items.
