Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If you have a look at the stickies on the top of the forum, you'll find one recently posted one dedicated to those looking for a new camera.

If you've further questions they can be posted there too.

    how about this?

i was looking at it yesterday, didn't go for it due to size. But it has 12X optical zoom, aperture, shutter settings (which are what I look for in a compact) and the price is very cheap.....

on a side note if someone is looking for a compact as a substitue for when they don't have their 'main' camera with them I presume that you'd look for good zoom, aperture, shutter and possible manual settings or no?

    Cheers,
    Pa.
