LG viewity and internet laptop

I have an Lg viewty, i also have a laptop.


Now what i would like to achieve is internet browsing on my laptop. What is the best way to achieve this over bluetooth?
Would i have to set the phone us as a dial up connection, if so how. or can i either use the 3g network like the browser on the phone, or would it be possible to get the speed of their usb dongle through the phone?


I'm Meteor pay as you go. I have tried their customer support line but i have got mixed and uninspiring answers

The first step would be to install the lg pc suite[/quote] which will most likely have an option for connecting to the internet.

It will ask you for connection information, some or all of the following:

APN (Access point name): data.mymeteor.ie
username:none
password:none


It might ask for a dial up number too and *99# should work

Thanks sam, what data rate would that be, i heave heard there is the standard2c/kb and then a much loer isp rate. Will it be that for the first 50mb i get charged €1

You should be charged the 99c per day for 50mb rate but try it out first to be sure, ie check your credit, use it for a few minutes then check again
