    Hi,

I want to get rid off the weeds and moss on our lawn/patio.

However, I am worried about using strong weedkiller because of our cats.

Any suggestions on what to do/use?

    Thanks

I have the same problem so I used about a kilo of salt boiled up in a huge saucepan of water, let it dissolve then put into a pressure sprayer bottle. Soak all the weeds with it. Once the weeds are dead, just sweep away with a stiff broom.

It'll take a few days to kill off the weeds, but it's completely safe to use around animals, which is a massive bonus. Just try not to let it get onto soil or beds as it will change the salinity of the soil and affect the plants in there. You may have to do it once every couple of months, but at least you know everything is safe and not damaging to anything!!
