    The Minister for Defence, Mr. Willie O’Dea TD accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Dermot Earley, will review the 420 members of the 100th Infantry Battalion shortly deploying to the UN mission in Chad (MINURCAT) in Eyre Square, Galway this Thursday, 14 May 2009 at 12.00 pm. The members of the Battalion are drawn mainly from the 4th Western Brigade Barracks in Galway, Athlone, Donegal, Cavan and Westmeath.
